Skills for everyday life

Cooking, planning, and making choices are meaningful ways to practise independence together.

Built around people, not routines.

Barriers In Motion is a community-based day service for adults with developmental disabilities. We create supportive, person-centred days shaped by individual interests, abilities, and goals.

Our team works alongside participants and families to make community participation feel possible, welcoming, and meaningful. From creative projects to local outings, every experience is an opportunity to build confidence, friendships, and independence.
